MARY KAY PALMER

Mary Kay Palmer enjoys the challenge of working on unique projects. Her depth and breadth of over 30 years of real estate and nonprofit leadership give her a unique perspective in multiple real estate project roles.

Mary Kay has a passion for green design, energy efficiency, and sustainable building operations. She has experience in facility construction project management, land acquisition, commercial property and multifamily housing sales, bond and tax credit financing, contract and vendor management, commercial leasing, and strategic real estate planning.

Prior to founding Milestone Real Estate Partners, Mary Kay had an extensive tenure with the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation as Director of Real Estate. Mary Kay led the design and construction of the 100,000 sq ft Wilder Center in Saint Paul. Under her guidance, this multi-award-winning facility earned LEED™ Gold Certification. Mary Kay also administered a LEED™ Silver certified renovation and new construction senior memory care center shortly after founding Milestone.

Many of her projects have included selling and leasing facilities for nonprofit clients and managing large and small condominium homeowner’s associations.

In addition to her BA in Economics from St. Catherine University and holding a real estate broker’s license in Minnesota, Mary Kay has attained the SRES® (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation.

Memberships include the Community Associations Institute (CAI), and Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MinnesotaCAR).

Mary Kay owns a hobby farm in South Dakota, where she is honing new gardening and orchard management skills.
